Hi there, I’m Laura!
Eclectic Gatherings was created for people who feel overwhelmed by the wedding and event world, and quietly wondered if there’s another way to do this. Because let’s be honest, there are too many options, trends, and pressure to ‘perform’. Weddings and events have become expensive, overproduced, and oddly disconnected from the people they’re supposed to celebrate. And a lot of clients don’t see themselves in what’s being sold as “standard.”
This work started with offbeat couples who wanted something real—bold, personal, and affordable—and who needed someone in their corner to help them make smart decisions before dropping tens of thousands of dollars just because that’s what everyone else was doing.
That intention hasn’t changed.
Today, Eclectic Gatherings focuses on event design and styling, curated décor rentals, and mentorship-style guidance. I help people cut through the noise, ask better questions, and create gatherings that actually make sense for them. I’m here to help you get clear, trust your gut, and build something that feels intentional, not performative.
Alongside the event work, I also offer Reiki and dance lessons for those who want extra support during big life moments. Planning an event (or moving through change) can be exciting and stressful all at once. Sometimes the most helpful thing is slowing down, settling your nervous system, and giving yourself space to breathe before making decisions.
At its core, Eclectic Gatherings is about clarity, confidence, and creating spaces that feel good to be in — before, during, and after the gathering itself.
Some clients jokingly call me their “event fairy godmentor.” I just happen to believe the real magic comes from feeling supported, informed, and fully yourself while you’re creating something meaningful.
